Tanja Stevenson

Tanja comes from a background of Hospitality and Business Management. After completing her degree in Wellington straight out of high school, she made the move back to Whangamata to live in the family bach and found her feet in the hospitality industry working during the summer months, while traveling the world in the winter months.

Tanja and her family have been coming to Whangamata for the last 30 years and she has lived here permanently now for the last 7 years with her partner, and has recently had her first child. She has worked in real estate for 3 of those 7 years and prior to that worked in management positions within the hospitality industry. Within the hospitality industry, she made a name for herself by being a reliable, driven, people person, with great communication skills and a strong understanding of online marketing, running multiple social media pages for local businesses. A lot of skills which transferred over into the real estate Industry when she made the change.
